Vrijdaghs offers a wide range of conventional polyethers ranging in densities from 16 to 65 kg/m³ and hardnesses from very soft (plush) to (extra) hard. We also have a range of fire-retardant polyether foams complying with BS5852 crib5.
HR foam, also known as cold foam, is a durable polyether with excellent properties in terms of comfort, resilience and ventilation, available in densities from 23 to 70 kg/m³ and hardnesses ranging from very soft (plush) to (extra) hard. Within these HR foams, we also offer a wide choice of fire-retardant types in accordance with BS5852 crib5.
Viscoelastic foams are characterised by the memory effect with excellent pressure relief properties combined with low temperature sensitivity. Available in densities from 45 to 85kg/m³ with specific hardnesses, some of which also comply with fire standard BS5852 crib5.
Hybrid foams offer the best of 2 worlds, the shape retention of a Polyether on the one hand and the resilience and elasticity of a HR foam on the other. Available in densities from 32 to 40kg/m³ with specific hardnesses.
Pantera is our top product specially developed for high-end comfort applications. This high density (50kg/m³) HR foam is distinguished by its durability, consistent quality, high level of comfort and exceptional shape retention.
Our reticulated foams are available in both Polyether and Polyester with different cell structures (PPI). Their good ventilating and mechanical properties make them suitable for both industrial and comfort applications.
Our own foam trimmings are carefully sorted according to quality and processed into agglomerated foam in densities from 80 to 320 kg/m³. As a result, almost 100% of our waste stream is recycled and we contribute to a circular chain.
Melamine foams are characterised by its extremely low density (12kg/m³) with excellent sound absorption properties. Combined with the high standard in fire safety (M1), melamine constitutes the suitable product for acoustic damping in construction, automotive, ventilation, aerospace.
With its hydrophilic nature, sponge foam has very good water-absorbing properties and can be used both manually and mechanically.
PE foam is a very versatile technical foam with a closed-cell structure. It is a waterproof material with good mechanical properties with a wide range of applications such as packaging, shock absorption, insulation, sports, construction and infra, ...
EPDM cellular rubber is highly resistant to UV radiation and ozone, has a long lifespan and is waterproof. The material has both closed and semi-closed variants. It is widely used as a draught strip and sealing tape as it is resistant to many external influences.
Besides our wide range of comfort and technical foams, we have some special foams that have very specific properties and find their application in seals, soundproofing, etc. Our R&D will gladly find the appropriate solution to your request.
We incorporate a wide range of synthetic fibres in our products or supply them promptly from stock both loose and in rolls.
Both foam and fibre are often used as loose fillings in comfort applicinegn. The combination of these different materials often makes an ideal mix between the right comfort and quality. We offer many possibilities to produce the right mix for you.
Our coatings provide a seamless final finish for custom-made foam moulds. Here you have a choice of different finishes (VCF-ST / VCF-HD / VPF) in which we will be happy to guide you.
